About Our School
At Boulevard Heights School, there are typically around 50 students enrolled at a time, with a student-teacher ratio of about 4.1 to 1. These students, aged between 3 and 22, have intellectual disabilities and/or severe behavior issues. These challenges make it hard for them to thrive in a conventional school setting. Nonetheless, Boulevard Heights School offers an environment that fosters student success.
The dedicated staff at Boulevard Heights School are committed to providing personalized education plans tailored to each student's unique needs. The curriculum is designed to be flexible, incorporating both academic and life skills training to help students achieve their fullest potential.
In addition to academic instruction, the school offers a range of therapeutic services, including speech therapy, occupational therapy, and counseling. These services are integrated into the daily schedule to ensure that students receive comprehensive support.
Extracurricular activities also play a vital role in the students' development. Art, music, and physical education classes are available, giving students the opportunity to explore their interests and talents in a supportive environment. Special events and field trips are organized regularly to broaden their experiences and help them build social skills.
Parents and guardians are considered essential partners in the educational process. The school maintains open lines of communication with families, offering regular updates on student progress and opportunities for involvement through workshops and support groups.
Through its compassionate and inclusive approach, Boulevard Heights School aims to empower students to overcome their challenges and lead fulfilling lives. The success stories of its graduates stand as a testament to the school's unwavering dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of its students.
